An antique lacquered and hand painted wooden box. This lovely old Meji box was made in Japan and dates from the 19th Century. A lovely testimony of the past and a highly decorative vintage treasure. The box has a removable compartment and is ideal for storing smaller items. Please note the key is not present.
There are small traces of use throughout the item. But overall, the box still presents very well and is ready to use. The small decorative sewing attributes as seen in the pictures are not included.
